Streetwear fashion has become the most apparent fashion trends we see today. The fashion retail shop i want to pay closely to is one of my favorites, Frankie Collective.
Like any other street-wear fashion brands, Frankie Collective is a Canadian (Vancouver based) retailer that sell reworks of popular 90s sportswear and street-wear apparel for women. The brands that they are famously reworked for are Adidas, Nike, Supreme, Kappa, Tommy Hilfiger and much more!

In today's fashion, vintage has become the most appreciative. We all know that fashion does has a way of repeating itself, however with frankie collective, they add in a modern twist. Through the reworks of the designs, their clothes are much more valuable and sustainable.
In a HYPEBAE video, creative director, Sara Gourlay, gives a rundown about what is Frankie Collective and also discussed her dis-tastes for "fast-fashion".
"Fast fashion is terrible and awful for the planet. They copy designer styles so fast that trend die out so quickly. They produced and pop out all these styles so that people will buy and buy, and it just ends up in the landfill. Once someone buys a piece of our vintage, or rework design, that's one less thing we're buying you. Hopefully, that makes a difference." - - Sara Gourlay.
With the power of reusing old material and producing a product that's attainable, Frankie collective strive on making a difference and expanding themselves to a wider audience. If you are interested on buying their apparel, their website link is down below. Also, don't forget to follow them on instagram!
